Artist Bio

Namibia-born artist Theresa Senger has always been drawn to expression and performance — the stage has simply evolved over time. Before transitioning into art full time, she built her professional career as a Behaviour Expert within the Human Resources field, specialising in understanding human interaction, relationship dynamics, and organisational behaviour. Her career allowed her to travel extensively and engage with diverse cultures, communities, and backgrounds, shaping her deep insight into the complexity of human relationships.

For the past six years, Theresa has dedicated herself fully to her art career, translating the wisdom and lived experiences gained throughout her professional journey into her creative work. Her art explores the intricate nature of human connection, highlighting how individuals share common emotional threads while remaining uniquely shaped by personal experiences. Through symbolic storytelling and layered visual narratives, her work invites viewers to reflect on identity, connection, and the universal similarities that bind humanity together despite our differences.

Now based in Durbanville, Theresa showcases and sells her artwork through Gallery7550, an art café and creative space where art, conversation, and community intersect. She participates annually in the Art.B Members Exhibition and continues to grow her presence within the contemporary art and design landscape. A significant highlight of her career is her ongoing participation in the prestigious Decorex Show, where she will be exhibiting for the sixth consecutive year — reinforcing her position within one of the country’s most respected curated design platforms.
